Sephora Collection Colorful Blushes - More Shades! Review & Swatches

I previously reviewed some of the new Sephora Collection Colorful Blushes. I liked the first three that I picked up so much that I ordered three more!  These retail for $15 each and can be purchased on Sephora's website or in store

Left to right: No 01 Shame on you!, No 02 So Shy!, No 03 Can't Stop Smiling

The texture on these is just perfect. They're buttery and blend like a dream! The three shades that I picked up this time are more on the everyday, wearable side, while the first three that I picked up were brighter shades, perfect for spring and summer. I love all of them!

In a nutshell, I love these and highly recommend them! Watch for a video on my YouTube channel, all about the new products from the Sephora Collection that I've picked up recently!

Sephora Collection Craig & Karl Eyeshadow Duo - London Eye: First Impression & Swatches

More new Sephora Collection products! They have a new, limited edition set out right now, called the Sephora Craig & Karl collection. I picked up one eyeshadow duo and two of the lipsticks from this collection.

Today I've got swatches for you on the eyeshadow duo. I picked the color London Eye. I have not tried these on my eyes, so this will be a first impression for now. Watch for a video on my YouTube channel coming soon! This retails for $13 and can be purchased on Sephora's website or in store.

The packaging on this duo is downright adorable. It's got an pop art vibe to it that I love. I picked this color, because after swatching the other duos in store, I wasn't too impressed with the pigmentation of those.

This one is really nice. It could make for a really easy, everyday eye look if you use more of the pink, or could also create a nice smokey eye if you use more of the gray. All in all, I really like this duo.

Sephora Collection Craig & Karl Color Lip Last Lipsticks: Review & Swatches

I'm always sucked in by packaging, so these lipsticks were a must have for me. They're part of the limited edition Sephora Craig & Karl collection. These retail for $13 and can be purchased on Sephora's website or in store.

I already touched on the packaging, but yeah.... It's adorable. The collection included these two shades and one other, which was a bright orange.

Both of these shades are gorgeous, bright colors. They're very pigmented, even from the first swipe. I've tried the formula on these lipsticks before, and I do enjoy them. They're a long wearing lipstick, and they're no joke. They're very long wearing! They can tend to feel a little heavy and sticky when they're first applied and setting. And then they start to feel like more of your traditional, longwearing lipstick. So you need to make sure that you're ok with a more matte, longwearing lipstick feeling, if you're considering getting these.

I really enjoy these lipsticks, both for the formula, color, and mostly... that cute packaging!

Sephora Sun Disk Limited Edition Bronzer: Review & Swatches

Another Sephora Collection product review coming your way. I bought, and really enjoyed, the bronzer last summer as well, so I had to jump on the bandwagon again this year and grab this one!

The packaging this year is really sleek. It does tend to grab every fuzzy that might be floating around in the air. In the photo below, you can probably see little pieces of fabric, and that was taken after wiping it down really well! So that's just a little side note. No big deal at all, but just something to know about. This retails for $24 and can be purchased in Sephora stores or on their website
Sephora Sun Disk Limited Edition

The bronzer itself is absolutely stunning! It has a beautiful leopard design that has such a fun, summery feeling to it!
Sephora Sun Disk Limited Edition

When you swirl each part together, it creates the shade you see below. It is a very warm-toned, slightly orangey bronzer (which I think can match the summer theme well); you'll just want to make sure you enjoy more warm-toned bronzers if you are considering this one. I do love the way it looks in the pan, but when I tried to wear it on my fair skin, it was pretty hard to pull off. It's just a bit too orange for me.

I did attempt to swatch each part separately for you, but they're just a bit too small to really get in there and do a nice swatch. And I figured that most people will be swirling it all together to use it anyway!

Sephora Sun Disk Limited Edition

And one final thing to note - this bronzer has a pretty strong, perfume scent to it. I'm really not a fan of the scent at all. I wish they would've have done this. But I love the product enough that I can overlook that. Last year's version had a strong scent as well, but I still used it often. The scent disapates after a while.

So I think this bronzer will really depend on what tones you look for. If you prefer a more cool-toned or even neutral bronzer, this probably isn't for you. But if you love a warm-toned, summery-looking bronzer, you may really enjoy this! Will you be picking this up?

New Sephora Colorful Blushes: Review & Swatches

Sephora Collection really seems to be on of the overlooked brands in the store. They really do have some great, affordable, high quality products.

They recently released their newly reformulated Colorful Blushes, so I decided to order a few to review for you. (Spoiler: I've already ordered a few more!) These retail for $15 and can be purchased at Sephora stores or on their website.  The packaging on these matches many  of the other Sephora Collection products - sleek, black, and simple. I like it! No fuss!
Left to right: 05 Sweet on You, 14 Over the Moon, 18 True Kiss, 14 Over the Moon

I picked out three very springy shades, 05 Sweet on You, 14 Over the Moon, and 18 True Kiss. Sweet on You is described as a coral pink. Over the Moon is a violet, and True Kiss is a flashy, baby pink. These all swatch (as well as perform) beautifully! They have just a really nice, buttery texture. True Kiss actually reminds me a lot of Illamasqua's Katie, only maybe just a little less white and a tinge pinker.
Swatched left to right: 05 Sweet on You, 14 Over the Moon, 18 True Kiss, 14 Over the Moon

I definitely recommend these! They have a great price point, come in a large variety of shades, and perform really beautifully. Like I said earlier - I've already ordered three more shades!

Maybelline 100th Anniversary Collection - More Lipstick Shades! Review & Swatches!

I was really not hopeful that I'd track down the other display of the Maybelline 100th Anniversary (since they seem to be verrrrry limited edition), but I was excited to spot the display at Walgreens!

In this display, there are some LE Color Moltens, 5 LE lipstick shades (3 of which are different from the smaller displays!), the LE blush stick that I already reviewed, and also some items that are in their regular line. There was only 1 of each lipstick in the display. Boo to that! But I was thankful to have found the display soon after they put it up, so I got the 3 other shades I was missing! :)

810 Magenta-bulous, 815 Coral Cocktail, 820 Berry Chic

These are all really pretty shades! But Berry Chic would be my least favorite. It's basically just a frosty plum shade that's not very opaque. Coral Cocktail is perfect for spring and summer!
Swatched left to right: 810 Magenta-bulous, 815 Coral Cocktail, 820 Berry Chic

And I thought you might like to see a comparison of all the lipstick colors in this collection, so here they are:

Left to right: 800 Strike a Rose, 805 Purposeful Mauve, 810 Magenta-bulous, 815 Coral Cocktail, 820 Berry Chic

Swatched left to right: 800 Strike a Rose, 805 Purposeful Mauve, 810 Magenta-bulous, 815 Coral Cocktail, 820 Berry Chic

I really enjoy this collection. Maybelline has my favorite lipsticks in the drugstore, so I always get excited about their limited edition collections, especially when they come in packaging as cute as this!

Jordana Modern Matte Lipsticks - last 6 shades! Review & Swatches

You guys probably know my love for Jordana as a brand, and I really enjoy their Modern Matte Lipsticks! While they're a matte lipstick and can tend to be a little dry on the lips (some more than others), I'm still a total matte lipstick girl, so I just love them! And they're very long wearing as well!

So in store (I found mine at Walgreens originally), they only seem to carry the first 12 shades. I've already reviewed those on my YouTube channel and in a previous blog post. These retail for $2.99 on Jordana's website, but from what I remember, I believe I paid $2.50 for these in store. But there are 6 additional shades that you can purchase on Jordana's website, so that's what I'll be reviewing for you today!

The packaging on these is the same as the first 12 in the collection. Just really cute, almost 80's looking packaging. I like it.
Left to right: 13 Matte Whisper, 14 Matte Innocent, 15 Matte Goddess, 16 Matte Divine, 17 Matte Gorgeous, 18 Matte Ambition

I really do enjoy these additional shades, especially Matte Goddess and Matte Divine! There are also some more unique shades in this group, particularly Matte Whisper (a dusty, darker, coral nude) and Matte Innocent (a warmer, almost slightly yellow-tinted nude).
Swatched left to right: 13 Matte Whisper, 14 Matte Innocent, 15 Matte Goddess, 16 Matte Divine, 17 Matte Gorgeous, 18 Matte Ambition

I'd definitely recommend these additional shades to you, IF you like matte lipsticks. If you're not a fan of that type of feeling on your lips, you probably won't like these. But if you are, these are a great, affordable option!

Products sent for review. All reviews are 100% honest and all opinions are my own.

Maybelline 100th Anniversary Blush Stick - Pursuit of Pink: Review & Swatches

When I spotted the limited edition Maybelline 100th Anniversary display, I had to pick up the blush stick too. I'm already a fan of this formula because they're creamy and opaque and long wearing! I found the display at Walgreens and these retail for $9.99.

The packaging is the same as the lipsticks. I love it! I didn't notice till I got home that mine is cracked! :((( So so sad! But it doesn't look like it's fully cracked all the way through, so it should hopefully be ok.

Pursuit of Pink is a beautiful creamy, peachy pink shade. Perfect for spring and summer! It's bright and fun but can also be sheered out for more everyday, work appropriate wear.

No complaints here. I love these blush sticks. The packaging on this super cute. And I love this shade!

Maybelline 100th Anniversary Lipstick - Strike a Rose: Review & Swatches

I found the Maybelline 100th Anniversary display!! My sweet friend April (from Wannamake_up on YouTube) sent me the lipstick in Purposeful Mauve which is pretty much perfection! I reviewed that lipstick in a previous post and also in my most recent Friday Favorites video. So I spotted the display and decided to grab the other lipstick shade in Strike a Rose.

Like the other lipstick, the packaging on this one is adorable. I found the display at Walgreens and it retailed for $8.99.

Strike a Rose is a VERY frosty, warm pink with a strong golden sheen to it. It's s fun, unique shade, but it's a little hard to pull off.

I think Purposeful Mauve is a 100% must have. This one...Eh, I'm not totally in love with it. It's worth picking up if you're a collector like me, but for the color alone, I think this one could be a skip.

Are you picking up Strike a Rose or Purposefuo Mauve? Or are you still on the hunt for the display?

Colourpop Highlighter - Stole the Show: Review & Swatches

Another Colourpop Addict post coming your way! They were recently offering a free mini sized highlighter with any $40 purchase, so of course that sucked me right in! Their highlighters are set to release in a few weeks according to their Instagram, so this was a way of getting a little sneak peak.

This is a mini, so it's the same size as their Super Shock Shadows. I chose the color Stole the Show. It was the lightest of the 3 options and looked to be the one that would work best on my fair skin.

This highlighter is be-au-tiful. It's a gorgeous white champagne color with a little hint of gold. It swatched smoothly and had great pigmentation. The texture is buttery and it blends easily on the skin, just like their blushes. If you're a fan of their blush formula, I think you'll love these too. I could also see this working as an eyeshadow as well.
Well, one highlighter in and I'm already sold on these too! Now off to add more to my ever-growing Colourpop wish list! ;)

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer: Review & Swatches

Next up I've got a review on the new Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer. I was excited to try these, because the packaging is just super cute on them, and they're very affordable as far as higher end lipsticks go, at $18 a piece. I picked these up from Sephora and chose the shades Beige Pop and Poppy Pop.

Beige Pop is a really beautiful pinky nude shade. I. Love. This. Color. It is your perfect, everyday, creamy nude. Poppy Pop (Can we talk about the crazy cute name for a second? Yeah, it's adorable!) is a fun, bright orangey red. So perfect for spring and summer!

Left to right: Beige Pop, Poppy Pop

Swatched left to right: Beige Pop, Poppy Pop

As far as the formula goes on these - I really, really love it. They're very pigmented and opague, but they're also creamy, comfortable and hydrating on the lips. I will definitely be picking up more shades from this line!

Have you tried the new Pop Lip Colour + Primer?

Clinique Cheek Pops - New Shades: Review & Swatches

I'm a BIG fan of the Clinique Cheek Pops! I already owned Ginger Pop and Plum Pop, and they both have a nice texture and pigmentation, great wear time, and well, they're just stinkin' cute! So when Clinique released new shades, I was all about it! I picked up Nude Pop, Melon Pop, Pansy Pop, and Cola Pop.  These can be purchased on Sephora's website or in store. They retail for $21 each.

The packaging on these is perfect. It's small and compact, but still sleek, and the shape of the blush is over the top adorable. These retail for $21 each and I purchased mine from Sephora.

Nude Pop is your perfect, everyday, wear with anything, blush color. And it has a nice sheen to it that's really beautiful.
Nude Pop

Melon Pop is a sweet pinky, peach. Perfect for spring!
Melon Pop

Pansy Pop is a girl lavender that will also be perfect for spring. And it's a really unique shade!
Pansy Pop

I grabbed Cola Pop because it also seemed to be a unique shade. It's a kind of rusty red burgundy color. Gorgeous! And it can be sneered out to make it more wearable for everyday.
Cola Pop

I'm super impressed with all of these shades. To be honest, I could own the whole Cheek Pop collection and be a happy girl! I just think these are such great blushes! Keep an eye out on my YouTube channel for a swatch and review video on these and the Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primers!

Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Palettes: Review & Swatches

I recently spotted these Rimmel Glam Eyes HD 5 Colour Eye Shadow palettes in Ulta. I'm honesty not sure if they're new or not, but I know that they're at least new to me! :) They were $4.99 each, so a great price! I picked up the shades 030 Purple Crown and 028 Burgundy Palace.

The packaging is kind of standard drugstore packaging. And I like how they've changed the layout and pan size of these shadows versus the original Glam Eyes HD palettes. It's much easier to get to the shadows with this new layout.

030 Purple Crown

028 Burgundy Palace

These shadows all swatch pretty nicely. Both of these palettes are missing some nice matte, blending shades though. I do wish they would've added at least one in each palette.

Swatches: 030 Purple Crown

Swatches: 028 Burgundy Palace

I tried wearing these shadows on my eyes, and while they applied and blended nicely, they didn't last on my eyes at all. By the middle of the day, they've almost completely worn off. All in all, I'm not too impressed with these palettes, and I'll probably be returning them. They do look pretty at the beginning of the day, but by the end of the day, they're looking pretty rough! Have you tried these? What are your thoughts?
